  Created long-term strategic plan for cultural marketing of a major city on the East Coast of the US. In second assigment, counselled Cultural Tourism Advisory Council on programming and marketing.Also organized press trips and created web-based self-guided tours of neighborhood attractions.
  Wrote strategic plan for leisure tourism to a well-known, long-established area. Inventoried attractions, prioritized towns and corridors throughout the area for development, provided oversight to a major research study, conceived new products that directly related to the area's innate culture, and suggested marketing collaborations and partnerships.
  Created long-range strategic plan on development, maintenance and marketing of Underground Railroad sites for a county tourism office. Recommendations included a driving tour, a public outreach campaign, reorganization of the board, establishment of an Advisory Council and ad hoc committees, interpretive markers and programs, corporate and public fundraising campaigns, marketing materials, and a local public relations campaign.
  Arranged press conference in Washington for a newly-appointed minister of tourism to announce his plans to rejuvenate US tourism to his country. Over 40 journalists attended, resulting in massive nationwide publicity.
  Wrote a tourism development plan for a small town in the Czech Republic, which included market analysis of tourism in the region, competitive analysis of similar towns within a six-hour driving radius, recommendations for development of tourism product, and financial plan.
  Developed cultural heritage tours to demonstrate the humanitarian history of a predominantly Moslem country. Due to special tour packages, briefings, printed materials and video news releases, two dozen groups from across the US visited in the first year. Repeat group trips were requested in subsequent two years. Publicity reached 38,900,000 readers in one year. A video news release reached a potential viewing audience of nearly 5,000,000. Total television coverage amounted to 86,900,000 viewers.
  Familiarization trips have been organized to countries in Europe, Asia, North America and the Caribbean for press from the UK, Italy, France, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Puerto Rico, Chile, Canada and the US.
  Conducted feasibility study to determine marketing potential of group bus tours to a large urban area. Facilitated working meeting with 25 tourism representatives from the area, conducted primary research with 150 tour operators and bus companies, compiled secondary research on tourism and bus group trends, and prepared five itineraries to be test-marketed.
